Nevada Prison Watch is a weblog published and managed by volunteer people from various regions and countries, concerned about the human rights of incarcerated persons in Nevada. We work together with people in prison to help them get the human rights all people of the world have a right to. Access to healthy food, education, programs for development and redemption, healing, adequate housing and clothing, safety from violence, access to law sources, preparing for life after incarceration are some of the basics we find necessary to watch. We are also working to remove the permanent lock-down status of prisons like Ely State Prison, to obtain transfers for prisoners wrongfully classified as maximum custody and to improve the conditions inside all Nevada prisons. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the community, local media and legislators, and those in prison, to make your voices heard.

The PrisonTalk Online web community was conceived in a prison cell, designed in a halfway house, and funded by donations from families of ex-offenders, to bring those with an interest in the prisoner support community a forum in which their issues and concerns may be addressed by others in similar circumstances and beliefs. Inside the PTO web community you will be able to find support from others who are dealing with, or have been down the same dark road you may currently find yourself, information resources & tools to aid you in achieving your goals, and most importantly, a place to communicate and share your stories.

FFPI is a fellowship of persons who have friend(s) or family member(s) that are incarcerated in a state, county, or federal facility. The group is for the benefit of the family or friend to help them deal with the emotional upset of having a family member or friend in prison.

We are giving prisoners the opportunity to create a life-changing plan by introducing them to God's radical grace, forgiveness and power to transform their lives.

Prisoner Re-entry collaborates with the Southern Nevada Prisoner Re-entry Coalition and Nevada Department of Corrections to promote the successful return of ex-offenders to the community through pre and post release services including job training, education, and resources such as housing, transportation, substance abuse treatment, and mental health services.

Rather, we believe that we should not wait for people (youth or adults) to justify returning to incarceration when we can mitigate that and in turn reduce the amount of people that become victims of crime.
